On last Thursday 13th, September 2018 we had the honour of hosting the British Ambassador for Laos, His Excellency Mr Hugh Evans. All staff and children were thrilled and excited to welcome Mr Evans who thoroughly enjoyed touring the school campus, dropping in to chat with pupils in their classrooms and mingling with the teaching staff. The highlight of Mr Evan’s visit to mark our foundation was the planting of a tree. In years to come as the tree grows taller, this will symbolise our growth as a school and reaching out to the local community. Mr Evans was assisted by several eager students who were overjoyed to lend a hand placing the tree into the ground.
Later on Mr Evans took time to participate in talks with our Headmaster, Mr Michael Anderson and the Directors discussing a range of issues including our school vision, future plans and extending links with members of the community served by the British Embassy. We look forward to welcoming Mr Evans to return again the future and thank him most sincerely for his genuine and meaningful support of our school.
