Historic First Day

Dear Parents, guardians, teachers and everyone involved in our school. Monday is a historic and exciting day in the short history of HISV.

As the first day approaches I would like to say a sincere thank you to teachers and teaching assistants for their hard work this week preparing the classrooms ready for the children’s arrival. I have been impressed with their passion and enthusiasm.

I know all the staff are as excited as I am about meeting the children on Monday. Parents have also told me how excited their children are about the first day of school. There will be nerves and butterflies in the stomach and perhaps a few tears. This is normal but I am sure everyone will go home smiling on Monday.

Please remind your child that if they are unsure about anything to ask a member of the staff.

A polite request to everyone, please remember to follow the school expectations for dropping off and picking up the children to ensure we protect and keep the children safe. This is our number one priority at HISV.

Finally, I would like to say good luck to everyone and I look forward to meeting you all at the school entrance on Monday morning.
