Blind People Are Independent

Last week, our Year 9 pupils presented a presentation titled “Blind People are Independent”

They explained that people are able to live an independent life even if they are visually impaired. Once you learn what you need to know and get into the routine, daily activities will become second nature. These orientation and mobility skills do need to be taught from childhood, though, as learning them is a gradual process. Equipment like canes help the blind become more independent.

The presentation was amazing and very informative!
