In Global Skills this term, a group of Year 6B pupils chose to help those in Laos in need of warm clothing. The group designed beautiful, informative posters inviting the Heathfield community to help by contributing donations of clothes. Yesterday, they took all the donations to Vientiane International School where they joined forces with the ‘VIS grade 12 student’, to assist with the service component of her HS project. All of the donations will now be flown to Phongsaly Province and will be provided to families in remote villages. The pupils had a wonderful time visiting VIS and discussing their project with some VIS pupils and Mr. Lucas (Community Engagement Coordinator).
