Year 6A and 6B have thoroughly enjoyed ‘book tasting’ in our role play cafe. Each table displayed a range of books from a specific genre. Pupils sampled the first few pages of a book of their choice, reviewed the book and then moved onto sample books from other genres. Many pupils tried a book that they wouldn’t usually choose and many found a book that surprised and intrigued them.
