Year 9 Pupils Taking Action for Children’s Rights ✨

In our Global Skills class, Year 9 pupils embarked on a journey to learn about children’s rights and support communities affected by bombing in rural Laos. As part of their project, they organized an excursion to COPE and MAG, two organizations dedicated to raising awareness and providing aid to those in need.

During the trip, our pupils had the opportunity to understand the impact of bombing in Laos and learn how it has affected children and families in rural areas. They also explored the innovative work being done by these organizations to clear unexploded ordnance and assist those who have been injured or displaced.

The experience was both educational and eye-opening, encouraging our pupils to think critically about global issues and consider how they can make a positive difference. Through donating and hands-on learning, they were able to contribute to a meaningful cause and bring awareness to the challenges faced by communities in Laos.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 pupils for their dedication and compassion. This project not only taught them about global issues but also showed them the power of coming together to support those in need. ❤️
